North Dakota | IMHO some of the caliber wars are simply fads. Chasing the next greatest thing. I for one should spend more time being proficient with what I have. Concentrate on calibers that are cheaper to purchase/reload ammo. A shotgun, .22/magnum or .17hmr. A rifle for larger game in a common caliber and a handgun for carrying concealed and/or for protection in bear/snake country with same caliber considerations would cover most anything. But then I hate spending money….period. | |
