
| Wow at no time did they say anything about increasing N application to offset the extra N used by the Cereal Rye if it was chopped, bailed or terminated. If you terminate the rye the last week of March as soon as it greens up not much N tied up and it has all broken down by June. On the other hand, if you let the Rye get 3 feet tall in May you have 40-50 pounds of N tied up and that mat is still going to be there in August. Your choice replace that N or complain about yield drag. |
