Subject: RE: Beats toilet paper

SW Saskatchewan
When I went to hook up the riverscreen I bought for my wifes yard water supply, I was totally confused, couldn't get pump to prime.

Changed seals, new gaskets, replaced fittings on pump to no avail- finally as I was trying to go to sleep that night, I wondered if I had missed the obvious.

Next Morning I pulled the screen and yep, no opening for water to get in the inlet pipe except for one burn hole in the funnel weld on the aluminum.

Called Bob, got dimensions to cut the opening and in a couple hours I had it back together and going- best little suction screen in all Alaska.

So, don't assume anything. It's not what you don't know that gives you trouble, but what you think you know that isn't so.

And yes, in spite of my mishap, I would reccomend Riverscreen to anyone, and tell them Bob is always there with advice and information.

My guess is in the motor- something is failing in it or the power supply likely due to heating( long shut down period) and motor speed is reduced.
