| Do the corn head stubble stompers protect the wide floater tires from stubble damage or will they have to be prematurely replaced as compared to duals. Replacing floaters at $4,000 - to $5,000 per tire is pricey.
How hard is it to find these tires if you ruin one during harvest? Looks like they would be a real bear to repair or replace. Does the repairman hang-up the phone when you tell him the size of the tire that is flat or do they smile knowing they will have a nice check to take to the bank.
Looks like floaters have some advantages, but I doubt that cost is one of them. | |
