| My latest experience at a local JD dealership was enough to make me quit them for good I think. I needed baler parts, I looked them up on the computer at home, called first thing in the morning to dealer, they only had half what I needed, and none in their other 7 stores. The computer at home gave me suggested list price, but when I got the bill, they tacked a extra 20% on parts plus freight too, because I didn't order them off jdparts. com. I told them this was a crock of you know what!
They told me with the 20% extra on parts that they give a year warranty, instead of 90 days from Deere. So I called around to other dealers in Idaho, and they all quoted me the suggested list price over the phone for order at store, not on a Internet order. | |
