Driftless SW Wisconsin | I have been manning our booth at the WI Farm Technology show this week and noticed yesterday that higher diesel prices keep coming up in discussions with customers. Locally diesel is over $3.00 a gallon at most stations and truck stops.
There seemed to be a lot of discussion at another booth nearby selling some firewood processing equipment as well as at the outdoor wood furnace booths. This also seems to be driving some of the interest in strip till equipment. People seem to be reacting to fuel and fertilizer prices. jmho.

We and Landstar had a difficult time finding a flatbed truck to ship a striptill machine last week. When we did the driver wanted $300 more than we were quoted. It seems like fuel prices are also taking a toll on trucking availibility
