Subject: Need advice about flex head

Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
I need to replace the very tired White flex head I have been using on my 1480.
I seem to remember you guys saying that some things about the JD 9xx series head are superior to the IH 1020 flex head.
My prospects for a new to me flex head are an IH 1020-25 ft about 90 or 91 model in fair condition in the $7000 range,or a very nice looking 925 JD with air reel about a 98 model for $12,000, which needs an adapter to IH for ?? $$.
Please share your opinion/advice as to which header is better working/more reliable, and how much advantage the air reel is in short or normal soybeans. TIA.
