| I have two NH swathers. A 2550 and an HW320. Both constantly eat the idler pulleys on the fan belt. Either the bearing fails or the pulley it'self falls apart. Both the plastic and metal pulleys fail. Seems like it is hard to get 300 hours out of them any more. Today both swathers lost a pulley. It's to the point that I am about to start replacing the pulleys every oil change. As it is now I carry spares. Neighbors are having the same trouble. Dealer claims it is an issolated problem but they sure stock a lot of new pulleys though. Anyone found a cure? As overpriced as New Holland is on parts they should last forever. Seems like the higher priced the parts are the faster they fail. | |
