At least the MF rear axles didn't snap off every time the phase of the moon changed like the green, red and galvonized ones did....lol

Anyone remember the 6600 & 7700 frame breakage fiascos?
Or the IH final drive and frame issues...
and the lists go on and on and on and on....

The people that bitched about the repair complexities of a MF evidently never turned a wrench on a JD combine either....lol

I've worked on all of them and can honestly say that the "not Mighty Fine" description used fits all of them pretty darn good. They were all poorly designed/constructed in many areas.

But if the companies produced something that worked good and lasted they wouldn't sell as many would they?
