Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | We bought a JD 925 flex head with the SCH cutting system on it and were impressed with how little wear and no broken parts in two years of use. This year we bought a 1020 IH flex head with a worn out 1.5 inch cutting system. Found we could replace it with a SCH system for less $$ than fixing the IH system. No broken guards / knife sections on the 1020 either this year in our rocky soil. We do not have the rollers on either head.
If there is a down side to the SCH system, it is that it mounts the knife and cuts about 1/2 inch higher than the IH cutting parts. |
