Subject: Considering a switch from Trimble to Ag Leader steering

Beaverton, Ontario
I currently run mostly Trimble autosteer system, but have an Incommand 1200 in the combine. I'm considering switching my corn planter and strip till tractors over to Ag Leader, mainly for ease of guidance line sharing with display cast and the integration with agfiniti/SMS.
Part of the problem I currently face is my Strip-Till tractor runs a GFX-750 with the Precision IQ operating system and the corn planter tractor has an FMX in it. Its annoying converting the guidance lines when exporting to a USB. Late last planting season I updated to the latest firmware on the GFX-750 to get the squared off headland corners that FMX's have been able to do for years. Now when converting and transferring guidance lines the headlands import into the FMX as a bunch of individual line segments, (Basically unusable). This is going to be problematic for planting into strips this spring.
Weighing my options, I either have to upgrade or downgrade one of the two Trimble systems or convert both to Ag Leader. It seems like Trimble's product development and firmware updates have been moving at a glacial pace the past 5 year or so, maybe this will change with the Agco purchase but it makes me cautious investing further in the Trimble platform.
My question is how well does the headland guidance work with Ag Leader? Do they have the ability to square off corners like the Trimbles do?
