Subject: Self feeding Angus cows

Northwest Ohio
Have a few bred Angus cows currently offer free choice hay in round bale and hand feed a ground corn/supplement mix once per day. I don’t have a lot of experience with cattle like this and am wanting to know if I could use some sort of self feeder for these cows to help reduce workload when I’m busy or want to take off for a weekend. I wasn’t sure if this was a practice with bred cows or only for steers that are being fed out. Any help or advice is appreciated.
